Fall Transitions

As we head into August it’s our time here in Alaska to forage for subsistence living. We are gathering and drying Mushrooms, picking all sorts of wild berries to make jam, and of course it is time to fill the freezer with fresh salmon. I have a black tail deer hunt coming up in 2 weeks in Ketchikan AK and I am so excited. Wild subsistence is a way of life here and we embrace it daily. If you’re looking to stock your freezer we can help. Shipping Salmon, Halibut, Black Cod and more to your doorstep is Citizen Salmon Alaska’s specialty. A 10 pound box will provide about 20-24 portions. Wild Alaskan Seafood is so healthy that you would be doing yourself and your family a favor. With so many cooking options from baked, grilled, sushi, tacos and fish fry your culinary possibilities are endless. If you’re like me, you may need a cookbook for inspiration, and we have you covered with “Little Alaskan Cookbook“ for salmon with 30+ recipes to get your juices flowing. Visit our website to learn more and don’t forgot that shipping is always included in the price you see upfront. Eat Wild Live Wild.
